Three Channels

Origin Acoustics has made a conscious choice to pursue three-channel amplifiers as our preferred solution for installations that involve multiple in-line full-range speakers and passive subwoofers. By giving the subwoofers their own dedicated channel, not only is there more control over the environment, but one additional subwoofer can be added to the channel without impedance restrictions.

Digital Signal Processing

This amplifier has an easy-to-use control knob and front-facing panel. Preloaded with DSP settings for our most popular configurations and loudspeakers, this amplifier is a must-have when installing 8-ohm outdoor audio or in-ceiling sub/sat systems.

Audio Sensing

The amplifier is on when you need it and off when you don't. The DSP3-150 is turned on out of standby mode either by sensing the audio signal from a preamp or receiver or by a 12-volt signal from any number of components.

Loop Outputs

The input channel features a stereo loop out to ensure connection to other amplifiers is straightforward and easy.

Protection

Built-in circuits that sense both thermal overload or a short-circuit in the speaker connections, will shut down the amplifier until the temperature level returns to normal operating levels or the short in the connections is corrected. This protects the amplifier from permanent damage and avoids costly service visits and repairs.
